Internship Component

All students in the Civic and Community Engagement Minor must complete a 4-unit approved internship related to civic and community engagement.

Students choose an approved internship from internships, field studies, and practicums across a multitude of schools across campus. Common approved internships include UCDC, UCCS, Public Health Practicum, and Social Ecology Field Study. A maximum of two courses for the minor may overlap with courses required for a student’s major or for another minor.
