UCI offers both academic and non-academic programs for undergraduate students in Washington, D.C. The UCDC Academic Internship Program, offered during the academic year (fall, winter or spring), includes a required coursework component. The UCDC Summer Internship Program does not require coursework and is offered only in summer. In both programs, UCDC participants gain valuable hands-on work experience and live in the UC Washington Center.

ACADEMIC UCDC
UC Washington, D.C. (UCDC) academic internship program participants earn UCI credit, maintain their financial aid eligibility, and gain valuable work experience while interning in Washington, D.C. for 10 weeks during the academic year (fall, winter or spring).
SUMMER UCDC
The UCDC Summer Internship Program (Summer UCDC) offers a non-academic, full-time internship experience while living in D.C. for 10 weeks over the summer.
