Lucy Hurtado-Figueroa, an upcoming Fall 2025 UCDC participant, was recently featured by the UCI School of Social Sciences as the 2025 recipient of the Elena B. and William R. Schonfeld Scholarship.
From the piece: “I am currently studying abroad in Geneva, Switzerland, where I am taking courses in political science and international relations. This endeavor has broadened my global perspective on policy and governance. This fall, I will participate in the UCDC program, and I am currently applying for congressional internships to gain hands-on experience in public policy and law.”
