Bella Engalla, an alum of the UCDC program, was recently featured by the UCI School of Social Ecology. The soon-to-be UCI graduate (social ecology ’24) will be the one of the School’s student commencement speakers.

From the piece: “In addition, Engalla is completing her field study through the university’s UCDC program. As part of the program, she is interning with Voice of America, THINK Global School and the National Whistleblower Center.

The experience, Engalla says, ‘has deepened my interest in advocating for public policy, particularly in the areas of healthcare, education, and climate change.'”
